you know, what i'm making really isn't so, so good,
it's really not that great, ok, it's trying to be
good, but my taste is still killer....you know what i mean?

via one of my favorite fashion, crafy, thrifting
blogs bits and bobbins,i discovered
polyvore.

the site allows you to create fashion collages
using thousands of images from dozens of sites.
it is seriously addicting and i could spend hours
tinkering around with it. here's a few i've done so far:

i just stumbled upon some pieces by catherine
holm on ebay. i can't find much about her but
apparently she's norwegian and worked mostly
during the mid-twentieth century. i think i
just developed a new designer crush. here's
a few that i especially love.

and i also found out thanks to my mom that the
teapot i found a couple weeks ago is a chantal
and worth about $120 new. i only paid a few
dollars, so i think that makes it an excellent find.
just add that to my non-existent holm pieces in my
hypothetical kitchen in my imaginary century studio. ha.

fondue anyone?
